Your agreement with Be The Buffalo

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Be The Buffalo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Account Security
You are responsible for:
- •Providing accurate account information
- •Keeping your login credentials secure
- •Maintaining one subscription per educator
- •Notifying us of any unauthorized access
3. License Grant (What You CAN Do)
- Use for classroom or homeschool education
- Display content on projectors and screens
- Print worksheets for your students
- Access all features included in your subscription
4. Restrictions (What You Can NOT Do)
- Share or resell your account access
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works
- Use content for commercial purposes outside education
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
5. Intellectual Property
All content including stories, characters, artwork, curriculum materials, and software is owned by Be The Buffalo and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited license to use the content for educational purposes only.
6. Payment, Automatic Renewal & Refunds
Your subscription renews automatically.
The Classroom Edition is $149.99 per year. Unless you cancel first, your subscription renews automatically every 12 months on the anniversary of your purchase, and the payment method on file is charged $149.99 for each renewal term. If you purchased at a promotional or early-access rate, that discount applies to your first year only — renewals are charged at the standard annual rate then in effect. Your renewal date is always shown in Settings → Subscription.
How to cancel
You may cancel at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Go to Settings → Subscription in your account and choose Manage Subscription, or email billing@bethebuffaloclassroom.com. To avoid being charged for the next year, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep full access through the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds
If you are not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. For an automatic renewal, contact us within 30 days of the renewal charge and we will refund that renewal in full, provided the account has not been used significantly during the new term. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
Price changes
If we change the subscription price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The new price applies only to renewal terms beginning after that notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
7. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Be The Buffalo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Be The Buffalo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
